Take a hike and enjoy the Hogeland!
During the walks you will enjoy the Groningen landscape, which is characterized by arable fields. At the end of April, the tulip growers’ tulips in North Groningen bloom. In the days of Louis Davids, people went to North Holland to admire the light bulbs. This is possible in North Groningen, where many farmers now also grow tulips. The route starts in Uithuizermeeden and occasionally leads through the tulip fields of Hogeland.
This special route is only accessible on April 27th. Hikers can choose between 10, 20, 30 or 40 kilometers.

Bike ride past the tulip bulbs

TOUR ON YOUR BIKE
We have planned a nice bike ride. The length is approximately 35 kilometers. The route takes you past beautiful villages with beautiful views. Of course, you will come across many onion fields that will be in full bloom by April. Your mouth will regularly fall open in surprise when you see the beautiful colors against a clear sky or the beautiful church tower of Meij (Uithuizermeeden).

Are you looking for a relaxing route where you can lose yourself in peace and blend in with your surroundings? Then go to North Groningen on April 27th. You probably know how you long for time for yourself and your loved ones after a long week at work. You can spend this in North Groningen at the end of April.
The motorcycle (vehicle) tour is also particularly attractive for seniors!
